Rumors of iPad 3 have been getting hotter recently due to closer to its launch. The latest rumors indicate that the Apple iPad 3 will have hardware upgrade from the outside in; including a more tapered design across its back and a larger camera lens hole that could possibly hint an upgraded camera offering up to 8 megapixel.

It’ll also have a sleeker yet more powerful battery. The display will remain the same size, and still be called Retina Display but it will pack a lot more pixels – as much as 2048 × 1536.

There were earlier rumors claiming that the iPad 3 would come with the quad-core A6 chip. Unfortunately, the recently spotted logic board shows that it has an A5X chip only. But it isn’t clear yet if this A5X chip will pack more than two CPU cores.

The iPad 3 shouldn’t come with any LTE connectivity or any additional ports. It’s likely to be launched in first week of March and most likely on the 7th of March. The iPad 3 will likely be replacing the price of the iPad 2 while the iPad 2 will have its price lowered again.
