If you prefer a device that’s somewhere in between a smartphone and a tablet, a 5-inch device similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note, LG also has one in its line which is known as the LG Optimus Vu.
The LG Optimus Vu has been officially unveiled by LG ahead of the MWC that is going to kick off end of the month. The LG Optimus Vo offers a 5-inch stylus-friendly IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels and a 4×3 aspect ratio; that’s more comfortable for viewing books, internet and multimedia contents.
The official specs of the Optimus Vu tells that it has a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, an 8-megapixel, LTE, a 2080mAh battery, 32GB eMMC and 1GB DDR2 of memory, all packed in a slim frame measuring 8.5mm in thinness.
The LG Optimus Vu currently runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with a promise from LG that it’ll get upgrade to the Android 4.0 ICS within three months. Korean carriers SK Telecom and LG+ are currently scheduled to get the update in March.
