U.S. luxury retailer Brookstone has launched a new set of cufflinks which come with built-in WiFi hotspot and USB storage. Simply unplug the first cufflink, plug it into your laptop then you can share your Internet connection to anyone in range.
Basically the first cufflink is able to turn your laptop into a WiFi router when it’s plugged into your laptop, letting your friends around use their smartphones, tablets or laptops to access the Internet. It sounds cool, now your fashion accessory can double as a WiFi hotspot.
The second cufflink contains USB storage that’s worth of 2GB, which will eliminate the little hassle having to pocket another USB drive for your data. Just unplug the cufflink to plug into your computer’s USB to read and write data.
Want a set of the Brookstone’s geeky cufflinks? Unfortunately, they don’t come cheap, set you back at $250 a set.
