Griffin and Third Man Records have teamed up and come out with a unique way to unite the old-school vinyl records with your iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. What they’ve produced are iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S cases that have been made by having a 7-inch genuine vinyl custom cut into a protective case.
The team incorporated a real 7-inch vinyl record, pressed by United Record Pressing in Nashville, Tennessee, then die-cut to form the protective back of the case. The case has been cleverly designed without blocking the camera, controls and dock connector etc.
The Third Man iPhone 4/4S cases are available in three different versions, which come in a yellow, black and white frame and each has a black 7-inch vinyl record back featuring a Third Man Records printed label.
The Griffin Third Man case is priced $30 and available now on Griffin. The vinyl back of the case is also interchangeable which a packet of three inserts is available at a price of $20.
