Want an affordable tablet that runs the latest Android 4.0 ICS OS? Here comes the first Android 4.0 ICS tablet which has been announced by U.S.-based MIPS Technologies and Ingenic Semiconductor, a China-based mobile chip provider.

The MIPS-based Android 4.0 tablet costs only $100 USD. It’s definitely affordable by many out there. It’s available in China and online via Ainovo.com. It’ll also be headed to the US and other countries within the next several months under brands such as Leader International and OMG Electronics.

Did I mention it’s a 7-inch tablet? There will be 8 and 9-inch form factors coming soon. It packs an Ingenic’s MIPS-based JZ4770 1GHz processor, a Vivante GC860 GPU, dual rear & front cameras with full HD video recording, a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen, WiFi, USB 2.0, HDMI 1.3 and microSD ports.
