Many users have reported poor battery life on the iPhone 4S – with most of them are not getting to end of day. Now, here is a quick fix for it.
It’s suspected that the iOS 5 on the iPhone 4S keeps updating the user’s timezone automatically by repeatedly checking the user’s current location. Such an activity drains the battery power of the 4S. Currently, Apple has not yet got an update release for the iOS 5. A quick fix is to turn off the auto time zone switching based on location.
Simply navigate to Settings > Location Services, and toggle the “Setting Time Zone” setting to the off position (As pictured above). Or alternatively, you turn the Date & Time’s “Set Automatically” option to off, where you can find it in Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically. It’s believed that Apple will release an update to fix it in the near future.
