
A new Android smartphone known as the Arrows Z HD has been announced by KDDI in Japan. The handset is the fruit of the team-up of Toshiba and Fujitsu, which comes with impressive specs including a 4.3-inch HD LCD multi-touch screen offering a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The Arrows Z Android phone runs Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 and packs a rear camera which offers 13-megapixel for still and full HD 1080p for video recording. The handset also offers WiMax connectivity.
Other goodies of the Arrows Z are a dual core 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor, a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage that’s expandable via microSD card slot. There are also Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, and a digital TV tuner. This handset will be available in Japan via KDDI operator sometime in November 2011.
