These days, a light bulb does not only shine for you, it also blasts your tunes. The GiiNii Audio Bulb is another bulb lamp that doubles up as a wireless speaker that allows you to wirelessly beam your tunes to it. It comes with a special dock station with a remote control, so you can dock your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or other audio-playing gadgets on it for playing music via this speaker lamp.
The lamp itself has also been designed to save energy in mind. It consumes a mere 5W of power but offers the equivalent of 60W incandescent bulb brightness. The GiiNii speaker lamp comes in a package containing two LED bulbs, a dock station, a remote control, aux-in cable and a power cord. It’ll be available sometime in October 2011.
