You’re connected with your friends and family online, and receiving lots of useful information using your smartphones or computers while you’re on the go. But while you’re in the bathroom, you shouldn’t have all the valuable gadgets to be with you as they might not meet your expectation of being able to survive dropping in water. There will be some other devices which suit your bathroom to keep you connected, such as the Magic Mirror.
The Magic Mirror has been developed by New York Times own R&D team. It’s not an ordinary mirror, it’s able to bring lots of useful information including giving you news and weather info.
It’s also an interactive beast, by having incorporated a Kinect sensor that tracks what you’re doing in the bathroom. The tracking capability allows the mirror to suggest you the appropriate type of shirt or a matching tie for the day. It also uses RFID to determine which prescriptions you’re taking and provide on-screen warnings or reminders.
