Sony Walkman could have been your best companion for playing your favorite music during your old school days. But Sony Walkman, the kind of portable cassette-playing device has ceased production since last year. However, if you’re a big fan of Sony Walkman, you can now have an Android smartphone that carries some features of the Sony Walkman.

The newly announced Android smartphone by Sony Ericsson is known as the Live With Walkman, which features a dedicated Walkman button for quick access to your music. But it has more than previous Walkman-branded handsets from the company, which is Facebook integration for music sharing and discovering.

The SE Live With Walkman Android smartphone packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 320. It’s powered by a single-core 1GHz processor with 380MB of RAM. The handset has a front-facing VGA camera for video calls and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with auto focus and capability of recording video at 720p HD quality. It also features Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, DLNA, Sony’s xLOUD system for enhanced music output and deep integration with Sony’s Qriocity for music content.

This SE handset will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and be available sometime this fall. But there is no pricing info at the moment.

Well, Sony is always the best choice when it comes mobile, specially its camera and sound. Its 3 MP camera is better than other mobiles 5 or more MP camera…but its only drawback is that it has the same jack for headphone as well as charging battery…
