BlackBerry Curve Apollo smartphone with picture and video leaked

I’m not a fan of BlackBerry device and I’ve given up a BlackBerry for an iPhone. But if you’re a fan of BlackBerry, you’d probably be interested in an upcoming BlackBerry Curve smartphone. This new BlackBerry Curve hasn’t got its official model number yet other than R006. Currently, it’s codenamed as Apollo, and here are a pretty clear image and video of this phone.

The BlackBerry Curve Apollo will run the OS 6.1. The hardware is more or less the same with other BlackBerry models. The device has a lock key on the top, a mute that sits between the volume control and it comes in a super slim profile. (Check out the video below, how much slimmer while it’s compared with another BlackBerry model).

The Apollo is said to have a non-touch display with a resolution of 480×360 pixels. It’s powered by an 800 MHz Marvell Tavor processor, has 512MB RAM, a 5MP camera and has a new, slim 1,000 mAh battery. It’ll also pack various types of connectivity including Bluetooth, 3G and WiFi. While I checked back out archives, the Apollo had some info surfaced in January 2011, and claimed to have NFC support. But the source says that there is no sign of NFC with the device in their hands.

Anyway, Check out the video below for more info about this BlackBerry Curve Apollo but I guess you’ll have difficulty to understand as it’s spoken in Vietnamese.
