Hasselblad is known to produce DSLRs that offer super high resolutions. The latest from the company is the Hasselblad H4D-200MS, a DSLR that is able to produce picture with 200 megapixels. But of course, the camera does not come cheap, it costs a whopping of $45,000 USD.
The Hasselblad H4D-200MS actually packs a 50-megapixel sensor, but to produce a shot with 200 megapixels of resolution, it needs six shots to achieve that.
Some more it takes longer than usual for taking such a big picture. It actually needs 30 seconds to take the 200-megapixel picture. Apparently, this is not the camera suitable for taking action shots.
You also need a huge memory card to store the super high-res pictures taken by this camera. An uncompressed picture at full resolution is as much as 600MB in size. It can store pictures onto Compact Flash card. Fortunately, it also offers an alternative storage i.e. you can tether a hard drive for more space for your pictures.
Other goodies of the Hasselblad H4D-200MS are shooting at sensitivities between ISO 50 and 800 and True Focus – a feature that automatically adjusts the focus after the camera is rotated for an off-center shot.
