Fujitsu has proposed a number of futuristic designs for gadgets, including the recently known Feno Foldable laptop. Of course, concept is just a concept whether the concept will become a real, practical device is another story.

Here is another Fujitsu’s conceptual gadget, which is a keyless Lifebook laptop which allows you to freely customize the layouts of its keyboard to suit your needs. The Lifebook keyboard comes in the form of a touchpad, which is freely customizable for the physical position and colors of the keys. And you can also setup different layouts to match the task at hand.
You can even further customize the keyboard such as adding a numeric keypad, when you’re dealing with numbers, and remove it to free up some space, when you don’t need it. You can even change instantly between different language layouts.
But I wonder how practical the Touchpad keyboard of this conceptual Lifebook could be. As most of us are used to the regular keyboard layout and it might involve a little hassle and time having to customize each layout for each task.
Anyway, the keyless Lifebook laptop is currently just a concept that’s been entered for the 2011 Fujitsu Design Awards.
