There are tons of tablets and netbooks available in the market. In order to make one stand out in the crowd, there is a need for a little tweak of its design. Here comes the Fujitsu Lifebook TH40/D which comes in a slider form factor that can be easily switched between a netbook and a tablet.
The Fujitsu Lifebook TH40/D shows some similarity to the Asus Eee Pad slider, which also has a slide-out QWERTY. The Lifebook TH40/D can have its screen slided up and sit at a slight angle to reveal a QWERTY keyboard underneath. This will also leave you with a comfortable viewing angle on the screen.
Fujitsu also claims the keyboard as a “touch-type keyboard”, although it looks more like just a normal physical keyboard rather than a virtual touch keyboard.
The Lifebook TH40/D has a 10.1-inch screen, a thickness of 17.4mm and weighs 1.1kg. It’s considerably a lightweight and portable machine for bringing along on the go. Hardware specs of this slider netbook are still on the sparse side. It’ll land in June but the price is still unknown.
