Pioneer has added a new multi-touch touchscreen table into the mass. Known as the Pioneer WWS-DT101, it packs a 52-inch multi-touch screen. Basically, the screen is a 52-inch HDTV that is capable of handling multiple touch-based inputs at the same time.
The Panasonic WWS-DT101 multi-touch table is powered by an Intel’s Core i7 Core CPU, 6GB of RAM, and runs Windows 7 OS. The WWS-DT101 offers proprietary UI called SCHEDA that allows you to pull contents wirelessly from your smartphones, laptops, tablets and cameras etc.
It also has a built-in scanner, and features teleconferencing capabilities. It’ll be ready for the market sometime in July 2011 and the price is still unknown at the moment.
