Fujitsu Loox F-07C smartphone dual boots Windows 7 and Symbian OS


Fujitsu has an pretty interesting device called the Fujitsu Loox F-07C which comes with the capability of dual-booting into Windows 7 and Symbian OS. The device may remind you the UMPC that was pretty popular a few years back.

But the Fujitsu Loox F-07C shall be more qualified as a smartphone, although the two OSes that it’s able to boot into are not any of the popular OSes for smartphones. This Fujitsu device is not officially announced yet it’s been leaked to the public through a printed brochure.

According to the brochure, the Fujitsu Loox F-07C will pack a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 1024×600, an Intel Atom Z600 at 1.2GHz and an an Intel 600 GMA with DirectX 9.0 support for its graphics.

The device also has on-board storage of 32GB SSD and is expandable via microSD card slot to another 32GB. The entire device comes in dimensions of 125mm H x 61mm W x 19.8mm and it has a full QWERTY keyboard.

It also supports GSM, FOMA/3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and has a battery that lasts up to 350 hours while it’s in phone mode, but offers only up 2 hours of battery life while operated in Windows 7 mode. Price and availability are not known yet.
