There are lots of Android tablets out there. In order to make one stand out, you’ll have to add a little extra features to it. The Nextbook Next5 is one of those many Android tablets that have been flooding the market. But it offers a little extra, by being integrated with an APEN digital pen.
The integrated APEN digital pen is similar to the LiveScribe smart pen, allowing you to write and draw using regular paper and ink. And it saves what you’ve written or scribbled in digital format and transmits it wirelessly to your NextBook Next5 tablet, where you can carry out some refinement or further editing.
The Nextbook Next5 tablet has a 7-inch display, WiFi, SlideME app manager, 2GB of intermal storage, a microSD card slot for expansion, an MP3/photo viewer and built-in speakers. It’s able to access e-Book store and comes preloaded with 25 e-books.
Do not expect the Next5 to be a high-end tablet. It just runs Android 2.1 but it should be sufficient for you who’ll always need to write or scribble on the go. It costs only $300.
