The LG Optimus Big has almost slipped through our fingers, but anyway, we managed to catch it and share with you here. It’s pretty big smartphone that comes in white. If you love white but you are not an Apple fan boy, this should be a better choice.
The LG Optimus Big has the “Big” in its name is mainly due to its large 4.3-inch display. And it packs some “Big” guts as well including a dual-core 1GHz processor, 16GB built-in storage, a 5-megapixel camera, and HDMI output. It runs Android 2.2 as the OS.
The LG Optimus Big poses some close similarity to the LG Optimus 2X but there are some features that the Optimus 2X doesn’t have. Such as the NOVA display which boasts up to 700nits of brightness and WiFi Direct, which allows for wireless inter-device communication without the need of an intermediary wireless access point.
It’s already available but in the South Korea market. No word on if it’s headed for a global launch later.
