Short-focus or short-throw projectors are best used at places with very limited space as they allow you to project huge images with just a short distance away from the screen.
Hitachi has announced two new Super Short Focus 3 LCD projectors, known as CP-A300NJ and CP-AW250NJ, which are good choices for you, who have very limited space to use.
The new Hitachi SCP-A300NJ and CP-AW250NJ projectors are based on their first generation Super Focus LCD projector, CP-A100J. But the two new models are lighter, weigh 3.8kg and come in a smaller body.
The two projectors can project an image of 80 inches at a mere 23cm away from the screen, while the previous model needs at least 63cm away to project the 80-inch image. The CP-A300NJ can project at XGA resolution with 3000 Lumens brightness, while the CP-AW250NJ is capable of WXGA resolution at 2500 Lumens brightness.
Similar to other short-throw projectors, they just need to be placed at very short distance away from the screen. Since the projector can be placed very close to the screen, it also leaves less chance for someone to walk past the projector, while they have to leave; thus less chance of interference in between the projector and the screen.
