If you wish to play some PC games on your HDTV, but do not want the hassles of having to move a PC in another room or connect the PC directly to your HDTV, what you need is just the Asus WAVI wireless HDMI kit.
Basically, the Asus WAVI (Wireless Audio Video Interaction) lets you use your wireless mouse and keyboard with your HDTV to control a PC in a separated room.
The Asus WAVI consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is to be plugged into a PC, while the receiver has an HDMI connection which hooks up to your HDTV. Having the pair setup, you can then have the PC and the HDTV to be separated up to 25 meters away. And you can have wireless USB control of your PC that sits in another room, by using a mouse, a keyboard and your HDTV in your living room.
The wireless transmission between the transmitter and receiver works on the 5GHz wireless band technology, which seamlessly transmits any contents or signals between the PC and HDTV, mouse and keyboard. It allows to transmit at up to full HD 1080 quality and 1080p 3D contents at 24Hz. Currently, price and availability have not been mentioned yet!
