The Verizon’s HTC Droid Incredible 2 was previously rumored to be a phone that could work all over the world. Now, there is a flyer/poster that confirms it as a global-ready phone and uses such feature as one of the main selling points of this phone.
The HTC Droid Incredible 2 can be used in more than 200 countries. So, if you have this phone from Verizon, you’ll be able to use the phone almost everywhere, which is handy if you’re frequently going abroad.
Verizon now has three global-ready handsets, including the Droid Incredible 2, Droid 2 Global and HTC Merge. No word on the price or release date for this Droid Incedible 2 yet.
Actually, the Incredible Droid 2 has not yet been officially announced for the Verizon yet. There were only some leaked docs, indicating the phone would land on Verizon. The Incredible Droid 2 is said to be a world phone with GSM and CDMA connectivity. It’ll have a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, and a rear 8-megapixel camera. And if you wanna use it as a 3G mobile hotspot, it’ll likely cost you $20 for 20GB on Verizon.
