JBL has readied its JBL On Air Wireless AirPlay speaker dock to ship from this month onwards. The JBL On Air Wireless AirPlay is an AirPlay-certified speaker dock, which lets you dock your iPhone, or iPod Touch on it. And you can stream music from the iTunes on your Mac or PC to the JBL On Air wireless speaker dock. It also lets you stream Internet radio directly from your computer via WiFi.
The JBL On Air speaker dock has a bright color display which lets you easily create album artwork. It also comes included with a remote control, which can used for pausing, playing music and navigating tracks with ease.
For sound quality, the device is equipped with three advanced JBL transducers that deliver rich, full-spectrum sound in a uniform manner across a wide-listening area. It also sports a special HALO (horizontal acoustic level optimization) design for delivering clean, powerful sound.
Please note that you must ensure you have iTunes 10.1 or later and iDevices running on iOS 4.2 or later, in order to stream via AirPlay. The JBL OnAir speaker dock will be available over at BestBuy and Apple online and retail store locations from this month onwards, at a rather expensive price tag of $349 each.
