The new HTC flagship phone, HTC Sensation aka HTC Pyramid has been officially launched. The handset runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM 8260 processor, has 1GB of ROM and 768MB of RAM. It has a 4.3-inch S-LCD touchscreen display that offers a resolution of qHD 540 x 960.
The HTC Sensation also packs various types of connectivity including HSPA/WCDMA, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi b/g/n, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB with MHL support for HDMI output
It has an 8-megapixel camera that is capable of recording video at full HD quality with stereo sound. The handset also has a front-facing VGA camera, which is great for video calls.
The entire handset comes in dimensions of 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm and weighs 148g and it has a 1,520 mAH battery. It also comes with a sheet of toughened Gorilla Glass which protects the touchscreen. Other goodies are GPS/AGPS, a dual-LED flash on the back, a gryo, digital compass, G-sensor, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
The HTC Sensation comes preloaded with the HTC Watch, a movie and TV show rental/purchase system that is said to offer about 600 titles at launch time, including big-name movies. Each title is expected to cost around £0.99 per rental or £1.99 for purchase in the UK.
The HTC Sensation also comes with the new version of HTC Sense, which has a host of new features and enhancements, with some borrowed from the HTC Flyer tablet. The main attractiveness is the customizable active lockscreen experience, which transforms lockscreen into a real-time window that gathers most important info including social updates, photos, weather or stock updates; that can be viewed by simply turning on the device.
The HTC Sensation will arrive in May or June 2011 in Europe. It’ll also be headed to other markets. It’ll be offered as HTC Sensation 4G on T-Mobile in the US, offering HSPA+ connectivity. No word on the pricing at the moment. Read more about it on slashgear

Good review ketyung,
I had the HTC Desire and it was a beautiful phone. It did self dial if you were not careful but that was my fault. This model sounds awesome. Droid is definitely giving apple a run for its money.
This is a well written and informative review.
I love gadgets and if you like action cams you can check out my GoPro HD Review I would welcome your comment and of course your link.
