It’s another rumor about the launch of the iPhone 5. Instead of the previously said rumor, to launch in Fall rather than at Apple’s WWDC, now it’s said to launch in June, 2011. Of course, we all wish that it’ll be launching as soon as possible.
Korean site, ETNews claims that the iPhone 5 to be announced in June at an event hosted by Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs. The Korean site also claims the June release was confirmed by unnamed “industry officials”. The Apple’s WWDC is to kick off on June 6, which should more likely be where the iPhone 5 to be launched as Apple has done it for the past few years, launching iPhone at WWDC.
There are also unofficial words from Sony’s Howard Stringer, claiming that the iPhone 5 will pack a 8-megapixel camera and with full HD 1080p video recording capability. Other than that, the iPhone 5 is also expected to pack the Apple’s new A5 processor, which is inside the iPad 2.
