The Hercules DJ Console MK4 is an all-in-one DJ station, which is the device you need to mix your digital or analogue music sources with your laptop. The Hercules DJ Console MK4 comes in a pretty compact size, which measures 10.5 x 7.3 x 2.5 inch and weighs 1.15kg (2.56 lbs) and is suitable for DJs on the go, to carry it on their shoulder.
It features a 2-deck controller, which includes 2 jog wheels, 1 cross fader, 2 cross volume faders, 2 pitch encoders, and 6 EQ potentiometers, allowing you to mix two music tracks. It also has two stereo inputs allowing you to hook up to two music sources such as turntables, MP3 or CD players in your mix.
And there are two stereo outputs as well – one can be used to output the mix to the audience and the other one used for previewing the next track. The MK4 also comes with software that lets you easily manipulate audio files on your laptop, including syncing tracks, adding effects, loops and recording etc. It also comes included with a graphic skin that can be placed underneath the see-through plate on top of the controller, to give it a unique look.
