The iPad 2 has been released into the market for less than a month but Stuart Hughes wants to make the first in history, calling for a super expensive price tag for its iPad 2 Gold History Edition, which costs you a whopping $8 million USD.
Similar to other Stuart Hughes’ luxury gadgets, the iPad 2 Gold History Edition has been customized with rare materials that can hardly be found on Earth; including dinosaur bones (T-rex), very old rock ammonite and the super expensive diamonds, gems and gold.
This gold iPad 2 is encrusted with 16.5 cts of ‘I’F’ flawless diamonds and 53 individually set sparkling gems. It has a solid 24ct Apple logo and the rear section is produced again in 24kt gold, which makes up a total weight of 2kg!
The front frame is made from one of the oldest rocks in the world, the Ammolite, which is 75 million years old. The Ammolite was also shaved with a splintered 65 million year old T-Rex dinosaur’s thigh bone, finished off with all the mentioned diamonds and gems.
However, two pieces of the gold iPad 2 will be produced. Even though, you can afford the $8 million price tag, the chance to own one could be pretty slim as there should be more than two persons willing to pay for $8 million for this gold iPad 2. Find out more on Stuarthughes
