
Aircell smartphone has its specialty in its hardware, which allows services such as Gogo in-flight Internet to be used on commercial jets. The Aircell smartphone is an Android device which has been announced by the company. It lets you have the mentioned in-flight service, where you can access the Internet and chat with your friends, while you’re on a boring and long flight journey.
Currently, it is not yet known what version of Android OS that the Aircell smartphone will run. The handset has a 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD and supports Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connectivity lets users to talk using a Bluetooth headset while you’re on an airplane.
The Aircell handset comes in an interesting design, allowing it to be used as a wired or a wireless phone. The company claims that it’s an easy to use handset and is a drop-in replacement for current Aircell Axxess flush-mount handsets. It also has a jack for headsets and earbuds. It’ll be out late 2011 but the price is still unknown.
