In Sweden, this has been made so easy by using your iPhone to simply snap a picture of the car’s license plate. The handy iPhone app has been launched by a Swedish car shopping site, Bilpriser.se.
Using the Bilpriser.se iPhone app, the users just need to use their iPhone to snap a picture of a car’s license plate, to get the specs and compare prices for the car.
The Bilpriser.se iPhone app basically queries government registration database to get the car’s make and model, followed by Bilpriser.se checking its own database and returning the correct information.
The database has over 9.000 models with over 80,000 versions included. So, there shouldn’t be any problem to get any car that you’ve eyed on.
