Pentax has rolled out the second generation of its customizable cameras, called the Pentax Optio RS1500. The camera offers swappable faceplates and lens rings, allowing for personalization of its look but also keeping its size compact.
The Pentax Optio RS1500 has a 14-megapixel sensor, a 4X (27.5-110mm equivalent) lens and a sensitivity of up to ISO 6,400. It also packs capabilities of recording video at 720p HD, and a 3-inch LCD screen for preview of images and videos.

The software also offers various goodies including face and smile detection. The camera is also able to shoot a burst of 3.2FPS for 10 frames at a lower resolution of 5 megapixels only.
The Pentax Optio RS1500 will be out sometime in April, coming in base color of either silver or white for $150 each. Either comes included with 10 faceplates that let you spice it up with different colorful looks.
