
For those who’ve got a new MacBook Pro can now upgrade the memory up to as much as 16GB. OWC has announced its 16GB RAM kit which will slip into the slots inside your new MacBook Pro to give you plenty of RAM to run any games or memory-hungry apps.
But unfortunately, you’ll have to pay as much as $1,600 to get this 16GB RAM upgrade kit; a price that you could get yourself a second notebook. The 16GB RAM kit is DDR3 SO-DIMM which consists of a pair of 8GB modules. The data rate is DDR3-1333 and the latencies on the RAM are CAS 9-9-9-24. The 16GB RAM kit is said to meet the Apple/Intel specs.
