HP thinks that you need a little handier device to be aware of almost everything including incoming calls, text messages and social networking activities of your friends etc. Finally, HP has decided to team up with Fossil to come up with a watch called the Metal Watch. And of course, it’s meant to be worn on your wrist which serves as a hub for other mobile devices.
The HP Fossil Metal Watch was shown off by the HP CTO Phil McKinney to a crowd in Shanghai. The Metal Watch was described as running a full software stack but there was no clear indication if it’s packed with a proper webOS or just an embedded OS.
Most Bluetooth watches come with an LCD panel. But the HP Metal watch presents you an analogue watch face with ticking hands, making everybody curious how the users interact with the Metal watch. And some more, there is no word about it. We’ll keep you updated once we have more info about it.
