Pentax has announced a compact point and shoot camera, known as the Pentax Optio S1. The camera comes equipped with a 14-megapixel sensor and a 5x optical zoom lens. It’s capable of recording video at 720p HD and shooting HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos. The Optio S1 is also equipped with a 2.7-inch LCD screen which is good for playbacks of images and HD videos.
The Optio S1 also features face detection, blink detection and sensor shift stabilization and offers a host of different built-in picture modes. The Pentax Optio S1 is expected to go on sale later this month for around $200 each.
