World’s largest multi-touch screen measures 33-feet wide

While you think the 200-inch 3D TV is a massively large display or could be the largest in this world, researchers from University of Groningen have created something that is much larger – a curved multi-touch display that measures 33 feet wide, or by simple math this makes up a total of 396 inches wide (33×12 inches).

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Android HoneyComb tablet to be announced at MWC

The Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet is also turning to the second generation, which will come with a new device that would probably be called Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 although the official name has not been announced yet.

The Galaxy Tab 2 will have a larger 10.1-inch display and could also be thinner and lighter than the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The new Samsung tablet will also run the Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS that will allow it to go head to head with the Motorola Xoom and iPad. It’ll also come equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, along with a dual-core Qualcomm processor.

ViewSonic to unveil ViewPad 10Pro 10-inch dual-boot tablet at MWC

ViewSonic has a new 10-inch dual-boot tablet called the ViewPad 10Pro, to be unveiled at MWC. The device is capable of booting into both Windows and Android 2.2 OS, making it suitable for work as well as having fun. The Windows OS will be what you need to complete your work using a number of Office applications and the Android will bring you with lots of fun with its apps and games.

HP Pre 3 and HP Veer webOS 2.2 smartphones unveiled

HP has also jumped on the same bandwagon of making smartphones by having unveiled two new smartphones called the HP Pre 3 and HP Veer which run webOS 2.2. This should be the result of HP having acquired Palm for $1.2 billion. The HP Pre 3 smartphone comes equipped with a 3.6-inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and a slide-out QWERTY.
