The Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet is also turning to the second generation, which will come with a new device that would probably be called Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 although the official name has not been announced yet.
The Galaxy Tab 2 will have a larger 10.1-inch display and could also be thinner and lighter than the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The new Samsung tablet will also run the Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS that will allow it to go head to head with the Motorola Xoom and iPad. It’ll also come equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, along with a dual-core Qualcomm processor.
What is more interesting about the new Samsung tablet is its overall size would be smaller than the iPad, despite it having a larger screen. This could be due to a smaller bezel around the edge than what the iPad has. More details will be announced on Sunday evening at the opening of Mobile World Congress.
