
Canon has rolled out two entry-level DSLR cameras known as the Canon Rebel T3 and T3i, which come with a number updates over their predecessors. The Canon Rebel T3 will ship end of March with a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II zoom lens for $600.
The T3 also packs a 12.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, a DIGIC 4 Imaging processor, nine-point autofocus system and a 63-zone dual later metering system. The T3 is capable of capturing full-motion video at 1280 x 720 resolution. The T3 is compatible with memory cards including SD, SDHC and the extended capacity SDXC.
Other goodies of the T3 are an ISO range from 100-6400 for capturing beautiful images in various light settings, a built-in pop-up flash and a user-friendly and non-technical UI that gets user easily accustomed to using it without steep learning curve.
The EOS T3i camera is little higher-end DSLR while compared to the T3. It packs a 18.8-megapixel CMOS sensor, a DIGIC 4 Imaging processor, an ISO range of 100 to 6,400, a pop-up flash, an integrated Speedlite settings and a tilt or swivel LCD screen, It also supports SD / SDHC / SDXC memory cards. The T3i will ship at start of March, with a price tag of $800 for the body only and $900 for one that comes with the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II zoom lens.

Hmm can the T3 be recommended for people who’s gonna start photography? That’s kinda the problem for most photography novices since they have no idea what camera they’re gonna buy. Most of them are expensive, and since they’re just novices, they won’t be able to use the full potential of the camera they just bought.
