Meet the DreamPlug, which works similarly to the SheevaPlug, which is a small computer that plugs into the wall socket directly. The DreamPlug is best used as a web or media server for your home or office, which is always on and connected. This also helps you save lots of space while compared to any tower or rack-mounted servers.
The DreamPlug simply plugs into a wall socket and it measures at only 110mm x 69.5mm x 48.5mm. Despite the tiny size, it manages to pack a 1.2GHz Marvell Sheeva processor, a 1GB of RAM, two Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA 2.0 port, a SD slot, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. The DreamPlug will be available this month for $149.
