Xiotech has a new hybrid storage that combines hard drives and solid state drives, which is known as the Xiotech Hybrid ISE. This hybrid drive offers up to a whopping of 14.4TB of storage capacity for your data.
Unlike other enterprise-level hybrid storage devices which simply collocate HDDs or SSDs in an array, the Xiotech Hybrid ISE is the first of its kind that integrates both HDDs and SSDs into a combined storage pool, promising to deliver better performance for applications.
The Hybrid ISE also has the ability to automatically sense application I/O patterns, which is able to raise the performance in the event of any IO storms without sacrificing total capacity.
The Xiotech Hybrid ISE comes in a 3U (5.25 inches) form factor, which delivers more than 60,000 IOPS in 3U and allows for up to 14.4TB of storage capacity based on multi-drive groups of 2.5-inch HDDs and SSDs. Find out more about it on the Product Page
