CHOBICAM1 – world’s tiniest camcorder, weighs a mere 12g

CHOBICAM1 is an ultra small camcorder which belongs the CHOBI CAM series of Japanese firm, Japan Trust Technology (JTT). Look at how the camera rest on the palm with ample space around it. The CHOBICAM1 is being marketed as a toy movie camera but it packs the real capabilities of recording video and taking still images. And it’s been shaped like a micro format of a DSLR and the company even plans to offer lenses for this super tiny camera.

Sony Ericsson Hallon aka Vivaz 2 smartphone gets previewed

What is shown here is the Sony Ericsson Hallon smartphone which is also referred as Sony Ericsson Vivaz 2 or MT15i. A prototype of this smartphone has been previewed by Mobile-review.com before its official announcement. The handset was found offering more than just a Sony Ericsson Vivaz with a swap of its Symbian OS for Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Sanyo’s ultra short-throw projector allows for interactivity on any projection surface

Sanyo has a new ultra short-throw projector called PLC-WL2503. What makes the new Sanyo projector stand out from other short-throw projectors is it allows you to interact with the projected surface. The projector has a camera module located on the front of projector which is able to detect the location of the included IR transmitter-equipped pen used by the presenter when they press on the projected surface.

Details of HP / Palm webOS Topaz and Opal tablets

HP / Palm has two webOS slates that are currently being developed and they’re the 9-inch Topaz and 7-inch Opal. The picture shown here is a render of the 9-inch Topaz tablet which shows that it has no buttons, and has a front-facing camera, a micro USB at the bottom and what appears to be a three-speaker arrangement.

Linksys also has its dual-band wireless router, known as Linksys E4200 ready for the market. The Linksys E4200 is a simultaneous dual-band model that offers concurrent 2.4GHz and 5GHz use. The router has 4 Gigabit ports, a 3×3 antenna array and a couple of internal and external amplifiers coupled with the 6 antennas to boost signal strengths across greater distance.
