HTC Flyer is the tablet that has been talked pretty much over the Internet lately. The HTC Flyer has now got some specs leaked before its official announcement. According to the leaked specs, the HTC Flyer will be available in models of 10-inch and 7-inch.
The 7-inch HTC Flyer tablet offers a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024×600, identical to what the Galaxy Tab has.
It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor, HDMI port, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and facial recognition and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing that is good for video calling with Skype pre-installed.
At the time of this leak, the tablet is said to run Android Gingerbread but it’ll likely come with Android Honeycomb while it’s ready for a release. It’s also loaded with a remodeled version of the Sense UI, making it more desktop-like. The 7-inch model will come with HSPA support or perhaps T-mobile 4G.
The 10-inch HTC Flyer is said to be a direct competitor to the iPad and it’ll probably support the LTE network and be in stores sometime in second half of 2011. Both tablets will most likely be pushed out at the same time in 2011 to compete with the Galaxy Tab and iPad respectively.
