Apple Peel 520 is the special case that turns the iPod Touch into a cellphone or an iPhone if you insist. The Apple Peel case basically equips the iPod Touch with a SIM slot so you can insert a SIM card from your operator to make and receive calls, as well as SMS, as what you can do with an iPhone.
The Apple Peel 520 case has been refreshed with its latest version, which now supports the latest iPod Touch as well as the 3rd-gen iPod Touch. The Apple Peel case also allows the iPod Touch to have Internet connectivity via the slow GPRS. So, you can still be connected while you’re out of any WiFi hotpots. Unfortunately, the Apple Peel still doesn’t support 3G yet. A video is included below showing it in action.
