What is shown here is the Sony Ericsson Hallon smartphone which is also referred as Sony Ericsson Vivaz 2 or MT15i. A prototype of this smartphone has been previewed by Mobile-review.com before its official announcement. The handset was found offering more than just a Sony Ericsson Vivaz with a swap of its Symbian OS for Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Sony Ericsson Hallon aka Vivaz 2 has a display with a resolution of 480 x 854, is powered by a 1GHz MSM7630 CPU and an Adreno 205 graphics. It also packs an 8-megapixel EXMOR R shooter that is also used on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.
The handset belongs to the midrange category which its price should settle in between €320-350 ($430-470). It’ll come in a range of colors and it should be shown at Mobile World Congress 2011 next month.
