
JVC has unveiled two new models of its in-dash GPS navigation system, called KW-NT50HDT and KW-NT30HD and both come wit h a 6.1-inch display and integrated with HD radio. One of the new features is they’re able to work with the iPhone iheartradio application via the USB connection, allowing you to view songs, artist info, album, channel up and down from either the navigation unit itself or the iPhone
The KW-NT50HDT also offers you lifetime subscription of Total Traffic HD+ Network and dual HD tuner system, allowing you to tune into audio content on one tuner, while the other one is getting the HD Total Traffic Network Data.
The navigation features include map of the US (including Alaska and Hawaii), Canada, and Puerto Rico, WAAS enabled GPS for accurate navigation, over 6 million P.O.I. data from infoUSA, and quick start up in less than 15 seconds. There is also text-to-speech and voice guidance in a number of languages including English, Spanish and French. Other goodies are magnified view, Lane Guide, Speed Limit Display, Speed Alert function, and brand P.O.I. icons. And various options for searches and user-friendly touchscreen control and hard keys etc.
Both the JVC KW-NT50HDT and KW-NT30HD will be out sometime in March but with prices that are not cheap at all – the KW-NT50HDT is priced at $1,200 while the KW-NT30HD is priced at $1,000.
