Motion Computing has become one of the competitors for Panasonic rugged tablets, by having unveiled its new rugged tablet, known as CL900. The Motion Computing CL900 tablet is rugged enough and protected from shocks, dust and moisture, thanks to its Gorilla Glass multi-touch display and Vertak bonding.

The Motion CL900 tablet has a 10.1-inch touchscreen display and is powered by an Intel’s 1.5GHz Atom processor on an SM35 Express Chipset. It offers either 1GB or 2GB of DDR2 RAM and options for SSD of either 30GB or 62GB and runs Windows 7.
The CL900 also has a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, and another 3-megapixel camera. The battery is good for 8 hours of use after a single charge. This rugged tablet is slated to reach the market sometime in Q2 2011 and priced around $1,000.
