Again BGR have got some leaked images and specs of the yet to be officially announced BlackBerry Storm 3 smartphone. The BlackBerry Storm 3 is meant to be addressing the disappointment brought by the BlackBerry Storm. The Storm 3 is a touchscreen device which packs good specs allowing it to have head-to-head race with iOS devices or Android smart phones.
The BlackBerry Storm 3 will come with a fast 1.2GHz processor, a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, 8GB eMMC, 512MB of RAM, microSD card slot, Magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer and an optical trackpad.
It also packs a number of types of connectivity including Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and 3G Mobile hotspot capabilities. The Storm 3 has a 1,230mAh battery and is loaded with OpenGL ES 2.0 and to run BlackBerry OS 6.1.
But the release date of the Storm 3 will be sometime in September 2011. Hopefully more info about the Storm 3 will surface at Mobile World Congress next month.
