The Cisco’s Cius enterprise tablet was announced back in June last year and is now said to be headed to Verizon for its 4G LTE network. The Cisco Cius is an Android-powered tablet that is best used for video conferencing.
The Cisco’s Cius is to ride on the 4G LTE network of Verizon for high-speed data connectivity but it’s able to fall back to 3G in the event the 4G coverage isn’t available. The Cius comes with a number of enterprise grade applications from the company. It also features WiFi, which is useful while the cellular coverage is out.
The table has a front-facing camera which is capable of 720p video capturing. And it also has a rear camera that’s good for capturing still shots or live streaming. The device also supports the Cisco’s VPN connections and WebEX.
