iPhone or iPod has had a number of medical devices associated with it. Basically any of the two gadgets is the most ubiquitous for many users, therefore it’s best to use either the iPhone or iPod to take any measurement of health-related information, such as your heart rate or blood pressure, while you’re on the run.
iHealth has made available its blood pressure dock for the iDevice. The iHealth dock is able to work with an iPhone, iPod or iPad app to monitor and track blood pressure from the comfort of your home, while you’re calm enough for any blood pressure measurement.
Taking blood pressure using the iHealth device and your iPhone, iPod or iPad is pretty simple and straightforward. The physical device works similarly to any blood pressure measuring device, which comes with an arm band that’s to be strapped on your arm for taking the measurement. The cost for the iHealth dock is $100 and it’s available on the iHealth store now. The free app that’s required for your iDevice, should be hitting the Apple apps store today.
