
CES will have lots of Android tablets and the tablet wars will definitely start there. AOC, a manufacturer that’s been known more for its LCD and LED screen technology, is also bringing its Android 2.1 tablet, known as Breeze to CES.
The AOC Breeze tablet boasts an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 4:3 aspect ratio and 800 x 600 resolution. The tablet is to be priced at a relatively low price of $200 only. The Breeze tablet is powered by a Rockchip processor, it packs only 4GB storage space but is expandable via the microSD card slot. It also packs a USB port, a headphone jack, speaker and WiFi b/g.
The AOC Breeze tablet packs a battery that is good for 6 hours of video and 12 hours of audio playback. It also offers some physical navigation buttons on the right side bezel. The entire tablet weighs just 1.1 pounds and should be available later this month. CES (January 6) will have more info about it.
