An Android mobile app for the HSTi wireless media stick is to be released sometime this week. The Android app will allow you to stream music, videos and photos from your Android phones or tablets to a media player or AV device that has the HSTi wireless media stick plugged in.
Just to refresh your mind, the HSTi wireless media stick comes in the form of a USB dongle which can be hooked up to an AV device or media player for allowing content to be streamed from a computer to the device via WiFi.
With the new Android app, now an AV device, a media player, or a game console that has the HSTi stick plugged into its USB playback port, is able to read or stream the content wirelessly from your Android phone or tablet, as if the content was stored on the stick.
The HSTi Android app will be available on the Android market sometime end of this month, while the HSTi wireless stick is available on HSTi shop for $120 each.
