NavFree USA is a free GPS navigation app for your iPhone, iPod or iPad. The application is suitable for iDevice with at least iOS 4.0. It’s the first of its kind that is free allowing you to access to turn by turn directions, auto re-routing, voice guidance and live Google search.

This idea seems to be borrowed from the Mitsubishi modular OLED screen, where a huge screen was made from many small screen modules. The world’s biggest iPhone shown in the picture here is made from 56 Apple iPads. It’s now being displayed in London’s St. Pancras International Train Station for the launch of the game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

The ExoPC’s Ciara VIBE Windows 7 tablet, is now up on Microsoft website for pre-order. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU and has 64GB flash storage, a 2GB DDR2 RAM, a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera and an 11.6-inch display multi-touch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The Ciara VIBE tablet runs the Windows Home 7 Premium OS.

Toshiba is working on a “green” copy machine that’s able to produce instantly erasable printouts. Using this copier, unwanted printouts can be erased to allow the paper to be reused. The copier actually uses heat to erase the printouts and the copier also uses a special toner cartridge which loses its color while heated.
The printouts can be erased and reused for up to 5 times, which is equivalent to reducing up to 60 percent of carbon dioxide emissions while compared with having to use 4 sheets of paper. This Toshiba’s “green” copier is capable of coping 20-30 copies a minute. But it’ll cost about 20-30% more than conventional copiers that boast similar performance.

A remote control application for Boxee box, has been made available for the Windows Phone 7 platform and to be available on the Marketplace shortly. The app allows your WP7 smartphone to work as a remote control for the Boxee set-top box and you can have full control of the box including navigating and sending text inputs directly to the Boxee.
