Good news for our UK readers. Super high-speed Internet broadband will be coming to your doorsteps soon. The fierce competition between BT and Virgin Media has made a 100Mbps broadband to be available in the UK. The 100Mbps broadband is to be brought by Virgin Media and it will first roll out to some selected areas including Heckmondwike, Farnborough, Colchester, Barry and S Wale.

Google has announced the Google Chrome OS netbooks to be coming our way. A few interesting features of the Chrome-OS powered netbook have been demoed by Google including the ability to come back up from sleep almost instantly and the HTML 5 offline storage and app-running capabilities.

LaCie has added a rugged 2.5-inch hard drive case, called LaCie Tank into its line. The LaCie Tank definitely looks rugged enough from its outer shell and is also rain proof, which should protect a 2.5-inch hard drive well to survive any drops or knocks.

A few more photos of the Nokia X7 smartphone have surfaced showing the handset coming in an all black color scheme and carrying the AT&T branding. This apparently hints the Nokia X7 is to be headed to AT&T.

ReWalk Exoskeleton is the kind of robotic leg that’s made to allow paralyzed patients to regain their walking ability. The ReWalk comprises of various motorized joints and motion sensors and is controlled by a computer that is to be carried by the user like a backpack.

Samsung has rolled out an Android 2.2-powered clamshell phone known as Samsung SCH-W899 in the China market. The device packs two separate 3.3-inch Super AMOLED displays, one on each side of the clamshell’s flip.

Young people these days tend to drive their cars at high speeds while blasting “fast” music loud. In order to prevent more road accidents to happen, there is a nice iPhone app called the SlowDown app, which has been specially designed to get you to slow down your car while you’re overspeeding. What it does is simply to slow the music on the iPhone, so you might respond by slowing down the car speed.
